CJ International Ventures Inc.
A former underground Pb-Au-Ag-Cu pair of mines located in North-central sec. 26, T5N, R14W (protracted), on land of unknown status. Owned and operated by the Britania Gold Mines, Inc. (1930). Operated by Mr. Chuck Ogle (1985).
Mineralization is a fissure vein in Mesozoic granitic intrusive with mostly oxidized lead ore and high gold values, in spotty, small pockets.
Workings include a shaft(s) and tunnels. These mines were prospected and worked intermittently from about 1917 through 1930, producing a few tens of tons of ore averaging about 5% Pb, 0.6 oz. Au/T and 0.2 oz. Ag/T.
