Old basalt outcrop/quarry with basalt pillar, two small workings (west and east), the eastern one with famous volcanic 'rose' showing unique shape of a thermal columnar jointing, in which the fractured polygonal basalt columns are arranged concentrically or arched.
Trace the boundaries of successive Cenozoic volcanic eruptions and contact of basalt with the Cretaceous, thermally changed sandstone with a thickness of several centimeters and the bottom layer of a lava stream. There are numerous xenoliths in the basalt. Basaltoids were created as a result of the ingress of magma into the loosening rocks occurring around the north-eastern edge of the Wleń Graben.
Note: Well-known educational excursion destination, commonly known as 'xenoliths near Wleń' but also 'xenoliths of Klecza'.
