A mine on the Buckeye vein. Started before 1880. Owned by Mrs. Eliza DeLuce (circa 1933).
Mineralization involves small areas of slate cut by large dikes of diorite porphyry and smaller dikes of quartz porphyry outcrop. The vein is near the contact between the two kinds of dikes.
Workings include 5 shafts at 75 to 600 feet deep plus several shallow cuts.
