Sandy lime-marls with an admixture of quartz grains and greenish glauconite grains, Cretaceous age. They are revealed in the town square and in the western end of the village on the steep left bank of the Troja stream (old quarry). Lime-marls without admixtures of glauconite was noted in the right bank of the river east of the village. On the right bank of the Troja stream there is also greenish-gray lime-sandstone with fine black and green glauconite grains and thin, shiny calcite plaques (Roemer 1870) Gypsum crystals in tertiary clay and clay slate (Traube 1888).
