A W-garnet occurrence located in several localities W to SW of Llano, at several local ranches, on private properties.
Mineralization is a W deposit hosted in gneiss. Local rocks include a younger granitic intrusion.
Analysis test results: 5 samples taken by the U.S. Bureau of Mines from a deposit on the August Otto RAnch (about 16 miles W of Llano) assayed at less than 0.05% of WO3 and one, 0.35%. Three samples taken from a prospect on the G.A. Parkinson Ranch (6 miles SW of Llano) contained less than 0.05% WO3 and one grab sample contained 1.05%.
