A former underground Cu-Ag-Au mine located in the SE¼ sec. 18, T10N, R13W (Ives Peak 15 minute topo map), on 9 patented claims, located in the Bluebell sub-district, on land of unknown status. Started July, 1906 and operated intermittently until 1937. Owned and operated by Messrs. Rogers and Albere (1905; and, by Messrs. Crockett and Gibbons (1937).
Production comprised about 170 tons of ore averaging 6% Cu, 0.8 oz. Ag/T and 0/.1 oz Au/T.
A Cu-Ag-Au mine located in the SE ¼ sec. 18, T.10N, R.13W. Owned at times, or in part, by Crockett & Gibbons, Rogers & Albere and the Montana-Arizona Copper Co.
Mineralization is copper carbonates, with some copper sulfides in depth, in several fissure veins in deformed and faulted Precambrian schist and gneiss. Some Laramide monzonite intrusions and relict metamorphosed Paleozoic limestone exposures. There are some local high gold values.
This mine was worked intermittently, from about 1902 to 1937, by double compartment shaft and levels, producing some 170 tons of ore averaging about 6% Cu, 0.8 oz. Ag/t and 0.1 oz. Au/t.
