A former small surface and underground W mine located in West-central sec. 26 and sec. 27, T.18S., R.19E, on National Forest land. First produced 1900.

Mineralization is spotty wolframite and minor scheelite in narrow quartz veins in medium-grained, Precambrian muscovite granite along a tongue of Pinal Schist. The quartz veins are 6 inches wide and strike E-W and dip 66 degrees N. Ore assays at 2%-3% WO3.

Workings are shallow openings. A few hundred pounds of tungsten concentrates were produced in 1943-1944.
