A former small underground Cu-Au mine located in North-central sec. 21 (& SW¼ sec. 16 ?), T.19S., R.25E. (Pearce 15 minute topo map), approximately ¼ mile E of Courtland, on private land. Owned by the Calumet & Arizona Mining Co.

Mineralization is a replacement deposit with oxidized copper ores in an irregular, blanket-like deposit in thrust fault breccia with Cambrian Bolsa Quartzite and carboniferous Abrigo Limestone above and Carboniferous limestone below.

Local structures include an overthrust zone of Bolsa Quartzite over Paleozoic rocks and the related thrust fault.

Workings include a shaft(s). A few thousand tons of ore were produced in the late 1800's and early 1900's.
