A former small underground Cu-Ag-Pb-Au mine located in South-central sec. 17, T.19S., R.25E. Turquoise Mountain 7.5 minute topo map), approximately 1 mile NW of Courtland. Owned at times, or in part, by the Leadville Mining Co., Needles Mining & Smelting Co., U.S. Smelting & Refining Co., and the Andes Copper Co.

Mineralization is a replacement deposit with partly oxidized and enriched pyritic copper ore, with minor galena, in an irregular vein-like body in faulted and fractured Abrigo Limestone.

Workings include a shaft(s). Some 3,400 tons of ore were produced up to late 1924.
