A former small underground Ag-Pb-Zn-Mn-Cu mine located in the SE ¼ sec. 14, T.20S., R.22E. (Tombstone 7.5 minute topo map). Discovered 1880. Produced 1889-1931. Operated at times, or in part, by Phelps Dodge; F.H. Suderstrom; the Rattlesnake Co.; the Bunker Hill Mining Co.; Bunker Hill Mines Co., Tombstone Gold-Silver Mines Co. and the Tombstone Development Co.

Mineralization is multifaceted: (1) as pockety orebodies and irregular replacements of largely-oxidized, argentiferous lead, zinc, and minor copper ores in sharply folded Pennsylvanian-Permian Naco Group limestone, cuts by small faults and slips between the major fault zones (intersection of the Prompter and Rattlesnake Faults); and (2) as manganiferous silver ore in irregular pipe-like masses or chimneys in Mississippian Escabrosa Limestone and Pennsylvanian-Permian Naco Group limestone along fissure zones. The ore zone is 30.48 meters long, 9.14 meters wide, and has a depth to bottom of 157.28 meters.

Workings include extensive shaft workings. Several hundred thousand tons of silver-lead ores and a few thousand tons of manganiferous silver ore were produced from the 1880s to 1952. Medium to low grade ore.
