A small tin mine, working two lodes on the northern and northwestern slopes of Caer Bran. One of the lodes trends SE; it was accessed from workings just north of the summit of the hill, which date back to the mid 1800s and are barely discernible today. The other, NE-trending lode was worked from a shaft on the northwestern slope. This site is now occupied by a farm house. Only few remains are also left of the engine house which was located a little further west. There are no records of output.
While Dines refers to this mine as "Carn Bran Mine", other authors list it as "Caer Bran Mine".
