A former small surface and underground Pb-Zn-Ag-Au-Cu-Bi-Cd mine located in East-central sec. 10, T.18S., R.23E, ½ mile south of China Peak. Produced 1924-1929. E.G. Escapule (1929) and J.M. Muheim, Bisbee (1942), operators.
Mineralization is a replacement deposit of secondary lead and zinc ores in a strongly oxidized pyrometasomatic environment in badly deformed Cretaceous Bisbee Group limy beds along a strong thrust fault.
Workings include an adit. About 200 or more tons of ore were produced in the 1920's.
