A former small surface and underground Cu-Pb-Zn-Ag-Au group of mines located on 9 claims in sec. 33 & W center ½ sec. 34, T.16S., R.30E. and sec. 10 and center sec. 2, T.17S., R. 30E. (Chiricahua Peak 15 minute topo map), about 3 miles SE of the Hilltop Mine. Discovered 1879. Owned in part, or at times, by the Duluth & Chiricahua Development Co. and the Sullivan Copper Development Co. Operated by G.H. Crosby (? - 1944), Duluth, MN.

Mineralization is comprised of base metal carbonates and sulfides in irregular replacement orebodies in silicated Paleozoic Naco Group limestones and along shear zones in limestone and irregular rhyolite intrusives.

District mineralization is associated with a Tertiary intrusive event. Paleozoic limestone strikes NW and dips 50NE, and rhyolite intruded irregularly. The southern limestone-rhyolite contact trends W and dips 50N. Meager mineralization at the rhyolite-limestone contact.

Workings include open cuts, tunnels, and shafts. About 10 tons of ore were produced in 1915 and some 2,160 tons of ore were produced between 1943 and 1945.
