A former small underground Pb-Zn-Cu-Ag mine located in the SE¼ sec. 29, SW¼ sec. 28, and the NE¼ sec. 32, T.16S., R.31E. (Blue Mountain 7.5 minute topo map), about ½ mile SE of Blue Mountain. Operators included Syler and Epley, and J.C. Erman, Blue Ribbon claim, 1923.
Some of the group is on the NW side of Harris Mountain, some are on the hill N of Harris Mountain. The part of the claim group on Harris Mountain is in the portal 1:62500 quadrangle map. The Horace Mine is also on Harris Mountain.
Mineralization is numerous small replacement orebodies of base metal carbonates and sulfides in silicified, fractured, and folded Mississippian and Pennsylvanian limestones. Host rock units are the Escabrosa Limestone and the Naco Group limestone. Alteration is silicification. All sediments have NW strike and dip 30-35SW.
Local structures include silicified, fractured, and folded Mississippian-Pennsylvanian limestone. All sediments have NW strike and a dip of 30-35SW. A small ENE-trending fault runs through the claim area. Escabrosa Limestone is north of the fault (sections 28 & 29). Naco Group limestone, Abrigo Limestone, and Bolsa Quartzite are south of nthe fault.
Workings include many shafts and tunnel workings. A total of some 100 tons of ore were shipped from the groups during 1913, 1923, and 1948-49.
