A quarry, clearly recognizable on an aerial picture of 2014 and the altitude map. On an aerial picture of 2012 there is an indication that there is a road leading into the forest, but no quarry is visible.
This is possible identical with the feldspar quaarry registered by NGU at Espestøl.

Arild Omestad, knowledgable miner and mineral collector confirmed in a personal communication to Ronald Werner (August 2019) that there has been an active quarry in the Froland municipality in recent times.
