Dolomite quarry located in the “Alto de las Llosas” area, approximately 1.2 km W of Ranero, in the municipality of Valle de Carranza. It was operated from 1947 by the company “Dolomitas del Norte S.L.”, for use in the manufacture of refractories for steel. In 1957, a blasting in the quarry created access to the cavity known as "Pozalagua Cave". The extractive activity ceased in 1976, and currently, the quarry has been transformed into an outdoor auditorium.
