A Cu-U occurrence/mine located in approximate secs. 25 and 36, T30N, R2E, G&SRM, about 2.8 km (1.7 miles) S of Tusayan, 200 yards E of the Grand Canyon Airport and 28 miles N of Williams. This locality is not listed in the USGS MRDS database. The geographic coordinates presented are approximate to the center of the boundary between secs. 25 & 36.

Mineralization is a Cu-U deposit hosted in thin sandstone and mudstone of the Kaibab Formation. The mineralized zone is 1.5 feet (0.45 meter), with radioactivity. Perhaps related to southern extension of the Bright Angel fault zone.

Production was 500 tons of Cu ore during WWII.

Analysis test results: 0.02 - 0.07% U3O8.
