Sławniowice marble and dolomite quarry, with a pegmatite vein. Precambrian age (Series Desny).

Marmury ze Sławniowic. Wapienie krystaliczne białe lub jasnoszare, z domieszkami minerałów niewęglanowych: kwarcu, biotytu, ortoklazu, pirytu, pirotynu, apatytu, piroksenu, tytanitu, grafitu, muskowitu, epidotu, kordierytu, skapolitu i cyrkonu. Tworzą 6 warstw o długości 600–800 m i grubości 10–200 m. Sławniowice, na południe od Nysy.

Marbles from Sławniowice. Limestones are crystalline white or bright gray, with admixture of non-carbonate minerals: quartz, biotite, orthoclase, pyrite, pyrrhotite, apatite, pyroxene, titanite, graphite, muscovite, epidote, cordierite, scapolite and zircon. They form 6 layers with a length of 600–800 m and a thickness of 10-200 m. Sławniowice is south of town of Nysa.
