Bog iron deposits on wetland areas of Borycz village. Extraction of ore was carried out from the 16th century. It was noticed that in 1558 the first furnaces (dymarki) operated here. And together with nearby Kadłub, these villages were the center of iron production in this region. Unfortunately, the deposits were quickly exhausted, and the mining and metallurgy industry also quickly disappeared.
