Andersen (1931) describes some small quarries yielding quartz containing feldspar. He places the locality in the SW end of the Sørfjorden, 100-150 m from the place where the feldspar was loaded on the ships.

The pegmatite is a 30 m wide dyke consisting for a significant part of graphic granite and fine grained pegmatite, but also with some more coarse grained parts with large feldspar crystals.
Andersen's description makes it diffucult to correct locate these quarries on the map.

But at the Geitåsen there are features visible that seem to be quarries. The coordinates are for the one in the west.

The other is:

58.72445°N 9.05071°E

This requires field confirmation.
