Andersen (1931) describes 2 feldspar quarries situated about 1,5 km NE of the Rød farms.
There are two granite pegmatite lenses in amphibolite, one being larger than the other one. The one in the south has produced considerable amounts of feldspar. Studies of the altitude map were inconclusive. There are features that might or might not be quarries/mines.
There are tracks on the map that could be the tracks leading to the quarries, but again, nothing can be seen at the altitude map.
The coordinates are for a spot about where Andersen places the localities.
