According to the reference to reach enter the southern entrance of the Old Kathleen Road opposite the Yakabindie homestead, and shortly after follow a fence line track east for 3 kilometres.
A thin pegmatite outcrops next to the track, continuing through the creek to the south. It strikes north-west, and is aproximately 50 metres long, and up to 0.5 metres wide, outcropping through rubbly Mount Goode tholeiitic matabasalt. The pegmatite consists of albite, muscovite, fine grained bands and pods of purple lepidolite. There may be several other pegmatites in the area.
