Several phlogopite-bearing pyroxenite that has been mined for mica. The pyroxenites are associated with marble rocks. Several pits with a depth of about 10 m.
A large pocket (20m wide) with calcite and phlogopite was found and mined out.

Concession P.E. 228 S.M.G.I (Sociéte Mines Grande Ile) (Besaire 1966).
The map coordinates given by Besaire (1966) are: X =312, Y= 332 (Map sheet Betroka et Est Benenitra)
