Abandoned lignite mine. The settlement of Helenenschacht is a part of the village Ritzing and is named after this mine shaft. The lignite deposit was mined from the Austrian side and from the Hungarian side (Brennbergbánya) respectively. Mine activity from 1750 to 1950 and the shaft is 345 m deep.
