Structure: Monoclinal Low Westward Dip, About 0.5w.

Tectonics: Interior Basin; Deltaic Red Bed Margin

Deposit: Discovery Year: 1940'S

Development: LISTED IN BERONI, P.A., 1954, USGS TEI REPT. 440, P. 170-171, AND HILL, J.W., 1953, TEI REPT. 330, P. 203, FOR URANIUM.

Geology: The 10- to 20-ft sandstone has been mapped As wreford by a.b. Greig (1959), but the text explanation shows that the wreford limestone is gradational into sandstone in this area. This is why the names council grove and chase groups cannot be used.
