Structure: Monoclinal Low Westward Dip, About 0.5w.

Tectonics: Interior Basin; Deltaic Red Bed Margin

Deposit: Nelson and bennett (1936) give most details. Nelson and bennett (1936) is first reference.

Development: R.p. Fischer (1937) mentions this deposit (p. 914). He worked in the field from 1933 to 1935. Ogs, wpa files, indicate that this and other areas in secs. 18, 19, 24 were part of the operations of the pawnee mining and milling co.

Geology: Lower 2 ft of sandstone has fossil wood and bones associated with a mudstone-limestone conglomerate. Geology by greig (1959).
