Wysoki Grzbiet (High Ridge) is built in the northern part of granite-gneiss, metamorphic rocks belonging to the Karkonosze-Izera Block, and strictly to the Izera Metamorphic Complex, in the eastern part of hornfels, and in the southern part of Karkonosze granites. In the area of Izerskie Garby, from the north-east to the south-west, there is a strongly silicified fault zone.
