In remote country bordering the Great Sandy Desert. The prospect is 6.5 kilometres south-east of Mount Rudall. (Mount McLarty is another hill further to the north-west of Mt Rudall).
Malachite, chrysocolla, cuprite, atacamite and azurite in seams and bunches in joints and shears. When inspected in the mid 1970's the site contained some shallow pits down to a depth of 3 metres. The source mentions a natural 55 metre sinkhole at the location, in dolomite, a seam of malachite seen at the 23 metre depth level.
Explored by PMI in 1969.
No evidence of the prospect, or a sinkhole, could be located at the site placed on maps, and until confirmed the co-ordinates have to be considered approximate.
