Deposit: Hatch locality 10. Coal: zn 13-5,400 ppm, avg. 1,050 ppm; cd 0.18-100 ppm, avg. 13.99 ppm. Ash: zn 42-17,600 ppm, avg. 3,547 ppm; cd, 1-328 ppm, avg. 48 ppm. Cadastral location: s W 1/4 s W 1/4 s W 1/4 sec. 6, t. 68 n., r. 17 w. ; info.src : cobb mines operated last in the early 1900's, and were credited with a "large" production of "low-grade" lead ore. Geology: Mineralization occurs in breccia and in bedding-plane fractures and faults; minor barite accompanies the galena and other sulfides. Sphalerite in cleats in coal; core samples from beds 1 and 3, and from the laddsdale, wiley, whitebreast and wheeler coal beds of the cherokee group.
