McDonald Mine


An iron and lead mine on the east end of Gladstone Mountain. It produced a few tons of high grade lead ore prior to 1941. Some iron ore was shipped for concrete making from 1936-1940. The geology is chimneys in the middle dolomite unit of the Metaline Formation.
