Outcrops and old quarries of marls and subordinate sandstone and breccias around Kreuzegg mountain, South of St. Bartholomä. Part of Campanian St. Bartholomä-Formation.
The only 3 km2 large St. Bartholomä-formation is crossed by the border between the Graz Umgebung district and the Voitsberg district and hence located partly in the municipality St. Bartholomä (GU) and partly in the municipality Stallhofen (V). Fossils from the St. Bartholomä-formation are usually know under the Name "St. Bartholomä", irrespective of their exact origin.
