Structure: Gentle Dip Nnw Less Than 1 Degree

Tectonics: Interior Basin; Deltaic Red Bed Margin

Commodity: Four feet of black shale and red-brown sandstone with copper minerals occurs in a 4-ft section, measured by udden and phillips (1912, p. 3).

Deposit: Part of old copper prospects in area. Udden and phillips (1912, p. 3, 23, pl. 18) describe measured section with 4 ft of copper minerals in old prospect pits 3 mi w. Of henrietta and 0.5 mi s. Of ft. Worth and denver rr., in east-facing bluff. Blair and others (1973, p. 10, pl. 1) give a.e.c. File no. 2456, chrisman ranch, for approximately the same locality.

Development: Old copper prospects occur in area according to udden and phillips (1912, p. 3).

Geology: Geology by hentz (1988), hentz and brown (1987), and romer (1974).
