A former W mine located in the SE¼ sec. 11, in the SW¼ sec. 12 & in sec. 13, T7S, R31E, MDM, 7.1 km (4.4 miles) W of West Bishop, along Deep Canyon (½ mile NW from the Little Sister Mine). Operated during WWI and WWII. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in marble, quartzite schist and diorite. 3 steep mineralized layers. The southern part of the pendant is enclosed in epidotized gabbro. The N end is in direct contact with unaltered gabbro and quartz diorite. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of 2 glory holes and a 200 foot haulage adit.

Assay data results: 0.2% to 0.7% WO3.
