The Jo-Jo mine is two kilometres north-east of Marble Bar, as a cleared area, a couple of battery sand remnants and possibly an old shaft or two.
Information on the mine was found from 1909 to 1916. During the time it was owned and worked by W. Hamill, Bayman, Prouten, and Thomas. Five men were also employed on the mine, and a nissen mill erected in 1914. The mine produced regular crushings during this period.
