The Kings mine is an overall term used by Fortescue Metals Group for four mines accessing channel iron deposits- Zion, Valley of the Kings, Trinity, and Valley of the Queens.
Low phosphorous ore from these deposits are a stand alone product, exported by Fortescue Metals.
The channel iron deposits extend over a 35 kilometre length, and have a production capacity of 100 Mtpa. The combine resources of the Kings and Firetail mines is 716 Mt.
