AN un-worked old prospect.

A 2 kilometre square area, 2.5 kilometres south-west of the Mons Cupri Mine. Stream sediment concentrates showing visible gold grains were discovered here in 1984. No definitive primary source for the gold has been uncovered, although suggestions are an east north-east striking ridge 100 metres to the south, showing as strongly silicified and chloritised basalt.
