Dawn's Hope is a small modern abandoned open pit, approximately 50 kilometres south of Kalgoorlie, and 10 kilometres south of the Jubilee processing plant.
As of 2015, Indicated Resources were 944 000 tonnes of ore at 2.20 g/t yielding 66 771 ounces, and Inferred Resources of 737 000 tonnes at 1.80 g/t yielding 42 651 ounces.
A Kalgoorlie syndicate, headed by J. Solomon, explored the site in 1934, and sank a shaft on the Dawn Hope lease to 25 feet. R.J. Beavis extracted 1200 tonnes averaging 4 dwt by an open cut to 100 feet depth in the late 1940's. It was described as a big porphyry ore body. Its stated in 1950 interest in mining at the site had waned.
