Information was found for the Queen Margaret Central Gold Mining Company from 1899 to 1903. It was Adelaide based. The mine was immediately south of the Queen Margaret mine on the same lode. J.H. Harris was mine manager. A shaft was sunk to 400 feet, and rich gold specimens were found at the 300 foot level.
The Warburton brothers found a rich patch worth 300 ounces in 1905 near the boundary of the Queen Margaret lease. Brown and party are noted with a 5 tonne crushing at 10 ounces and 6 tonne crushing in 1908 from the dregs left at the 300 foot level.
In 1933, Kalgoorlie prospectors Charles B. Wark, William A. Kingsborough (or Hingsborough) and George Stevenson took over several of the Queen Margaret group of leases including the Central. The source states several parties had given the leases a go in previous years without success.
The mine achieved 514 tonnes of ore at 169.61 g/t yielding 2847.79 ounces of gold.
