The Lady Edith came to notice briefly in 1910. A.H. Fletcher discovered a new line of reef, west of the town site, in October 1909. Hampton (surname) is also noted as owner of the lease. 10 acres. The shaft reached a depth of 130 feet, on a reef 4 feet wide. Across 1910, the pair produced 225 tonnes of ore for 251 ounces of gold, averaging 30 dwt.
