The Shamrock Gold Mine is about 2 kilometres south of the Lady Gladys mine, and 1 kilometre west of the Davyhurst-Mulline Road. It consists of a 100 metre north-south line of shafts, now hidden in the scrub, and little visited.
Crushings were found from 1899 to 1910. Owners and tributers were many. 1899 McKenzie and party, 1900 Mannie Annett and Jim Edwards, 1903 O'Donnell and Wrout, 1905 J.J. Harris, 1905 C. Menz, 1906 Cunningham and party, 1910 the Vann brothers. There may have been more prospectors later but no information was found.
The mine has produced 2490 tonnes of ore for 2693 ounces of gold.
