A verdolite-Mo-U occurrence/quarry located 3.6 km (2.24 mi) NNE of Easton proper. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.

Upper level quarry in serpentine/tremolite. Opened in 1898 by William B. Reed of Easton, just above the old Scherrer's Quarry*, exploited for ornamental/building material serpentine or "verdolite". Both quarries eventually became part of C.K. Williams Quarry complex. These two original quarries are the original/primary sites of origin for most older mineralogical studies and specimens from the area.

Local rocks include felsic to mafic gneiss.

*Site listed separately to aid the locality search for older labelled specimens.
