The mine was reported on by the State Engineer in 1902.
Four reefs traverse the property. A well defined reef on the eastern boundary of the lease had been opened in several places down to 10 feet. There was also an open cut 60 feet long and 13 feet deep exposing a 4 foot thick quartz vein.
Just to the west of the open cut was a shaft down to 20 feet, showing a very small quartz leader in greenstone schist. The main shaft was down to 80 feet, and the reef had been driven on for 200 feet to the north, at which point it pinched out. There was a 24 foot long crosscut connecting to another shaft to the east.
This second shaft was 80 feet deep showing a lenticular reef up to 3 feet 6 inches wide. Like much of the Edjudina line of lode, the reefs were lenticular, with the bulges connected by quartz areas amounting to mere threads. On the northern boundary of the lease was another shallow shaft on a reef 6 to 8 inches thick, and two shoots on the Hanging Wall.
