The Perseverance Gold Mine consists of a couple of lines of north north-west to south south-east shafts, between the Gawler Mine to the north and the Triumph and Glengarry mines to the south. GML 374 B (613B).
When visited by the State Mining Engineer in 1902, the lease had two shafts only that were working, and some others already in a state of disrepair. The northern shaft was 73 feet deep, opened with drives 60 feet long both north and south of the shaft. The reef was lenticular in habit as are all along the Edjudina line of lode. In 1902 24 tonnes was mined for 40 ounces.
