Many nuggets were found here in the early days (1895-1900), the location largely confined to being an alluvial gold area. It is about 5 kilometres east of the Yundamindera battery. It is a further 1 kilometre east north-east from the Murrin Murrin-Linden track, and battery track intersection. A well made track goes to the site which is a disturbed area of alluvial diggings and some shafts. Full scale mines and batteries really never took off here, and it was largely abandoned after the alluvial gold ran out.
Of the leases which sank shafts, the most prominent was the Washington owned by Till, Lindsay and party on a 5 foot wide reef, recovering 481 ounces from 238 tonnes of ore. Tucker Bag was at the centre of the alluvial workings, owned by C. Webb, and consisted of low grade ore with a few extremely rich patches. Webb recovered 1200 pounds money-wise in gold in a year from dollying. Just in Time is also noted as a lease that sank shafts and produced some crushings.
There is also a group of shafts about 2 kilometres to the north-west, but the name of this lease was not found. A maze of faint tracks to it exist from Pennyweight Point, but getting lost is likely.
