Twenty kilometres north of Leonora and two kilometres west of the Goldfields Highway, is a small pit, and semi active prospectors camp. Maps name it Snell, although what name the prospector attaches to it is unknown. No historic information could be found, although there was a miner named Snell active in the area in the early 1900's.
Further workings are north-west, and are best accessed by going north along a track from the Jasper Flat Gold Mine. There is a small grouping of north-south trending shafts, and a little further a couple of very old pits and a tailings heap. The vegetation growing in the pits would indicate it was developed many decades ago. Again no historic information could be found under this name.
