This is a historic location from the 1890's, and was probably destroyed when the large modern North Royal open pit was developed. It is located 10 kilometres north north-east of Norseman.

It contained lease numbers 647, 678, 698, 841, totalling 41 acres. It was located on the southern boundary of the Princess Royal mine, and on the same line of reef. When inspected in 1906, the shaft was already in a state of disrepair. It was sunk to 152 feet on a 12 inch wide reef, but at depth it narrowed to a leader, and eventually cut by a felsic dyke. No records of crushings were found, but was said at the time to contain very little gold.
