Golden Goose is about 1 kilometre south of Norseman, near the Norseman-Esperance Highway. The deposit was discovered by Norseman Gold Mines in 2009.
It is thought to be a north-west extension of the lodes at the O.K. Mine. The deposit relates to the Norseman style vein systems in the area. The lode structure has been identified for 1400 metres strike length and to a depth of 600 metres as gold in high grade narrow quartz vein intersections with near vertical dip.
