The Banker Gold Mine is approximately 2 kilometres east of the Great Victoria Mine and the same distance south-east of the Nevoria Mine. It is marked by a very small modern abandoned pit/trench directly north-east from the intersection of the Yilgarn Star and Nevoria mine roads.

The first information found was 1919, when the mine was owned by the Golden Butterfly Company, the mine sometimes known by this name. Limited active mining was found during its reign over the mine, but many requests for exemptions. From 1923 to 1926, tributers Charlie Jenkins, Jim Black, and Dave Hatt took over, including purchasing the battery located on the lease. The company took back control after 1926, with little further mining.

In March 1931, the Banker Gold Mining Company Ltd purchased the mine, and publically floated in October 1932. Trial crushings proceeded from the 180 foot level of sulphide ore showing gold and galena.
