Tenacious Pig is a small abandoned open pit, 15 kilometres south-east of Marvel Loch, and 300 metres south south-west of the Great Victoria Mine. The Vintage Crop mine is less than 100 metres north, and Grand National Mine less than 100 metres south of Tenacious Pig.

It was developed in the 1980's by Sons of Gwalia Ltd, along with eight other nearby pits. Tenacious has been partially refilled with waste rock from nearby operations. Mine maps list the location as Phoenix.
