The Kurrajong Gold Mine is a small modern abandoned pit, 500 metres east of the Nevoria Gold Mine, and probably mined in conjunction with it in the 1990's.
Historic activity at the site was only found between 1936 to 1941. The mine was owned by W.A Barton and L. Henry, and they erected a 5 head battery removed from the Recovery lease at Westonia. GML 3718 (Kurrajong).
Mid 1938, the Consolidated Gold Areas NL in a joint venture with Midas Gold Mines NL took out a 12 month working option over the mine. They abandoned this at the end of the 12 months, and Barton/Henry resumed mining , employing eight men, accessing ore from an open cut near the main shaft. A new shaft was being sunk 500 feet to the east.
